Shiva, Shakti and The Ring of Stillness and Creation

Shiva it is said, is a vast concept to fathom. It is vast but its direct reflection is also within us waiting to be discovered like a child playing hide and seek, hiding, smiling and expectant of being discovered by her friend. This discovery is followed by peals of thrilled, innocent laughter and joy. The moment where the friend finds this child signifies "ALIGNMENT" in space and time, and there is JOY. This is the master key to our existence, if you will - alignment of what is with what needs to be. The instance of the friend being unsuccessful at finding the girl is also a possibility in which case we could call it misalignment. This might be met with disappointment, frustration or on the flipside, with calmness and patience, depending on your discernment of the "why". What would you do? Would you wear a frown or a smile? :)
There is no existence without stillness or without creation. Before we dive headfirst into exploring these famous anthropological and cosmic concepts explored far and wide, let us quickly zero in on everything being a wave form or vibrational frequency viz. a wave structure containing a certain number of waves and vibrating at certain amplitudes or strengths.
Stillness Births the Creative Force
Shiva, a master of stillness or equilibrium is a personification of the state of pure awareness (consciousness) devoid of the kind of judgement that is typically interwoven with the phenomena of emotions and thoughts specific to our existence on earth. This clarifies therefore, the possibility of a multitude of other consequential phenomena in other types of existences in the cosmos. The best attitude is keeping an open mind while we try to understand and ground our experience here, simultaneously developing awareness about the larger cosmic fabric, as a default mechanism.
Whatever already "is" is called consciousness. Shiva- stillness and Shakti- creative force, are two different concepts of consciousness. When one becomes aware of the existing consciousness, it is termed "awareness".
Shiva is the kind of consciousness that observes and assimilates without looking for conclusions. During this time of mastery of stillness, a state of immense and intense equilibrium is attained. From a human perspective, a person embodying Shiva's still quality is one who does not judge with emotions and does not overthink upon developing a certain awareness. He observes and allows. This calm demeanour empowers him with the ability to choose what is for his greatest good only. This process provides space for the awareness of what "needs to be" next. Chaos confuses whereas stillness reinforces clarity! 10 people talking to you at the same time versus one person talking to you, is a great way of understanding the concept of clarity by allowing space through the elimination of the other 9. So, here we arrive at the idea of "allowing space for assimilating new awareness through the elimination of undesirable awareness, all for the purpose of our understanding" of what is, of who we are! At times, we do not comprehend the reason behind this elimination and the quest for understanding. However, it is natural at the time to flow with the process. It is natural, like breathing is to a human being. Do we act on this whim? This is a question we must ask ourselves often.
Human beings are a form of creative force which in our perception (5 senses plus one initially elusive sense, intuition/sixth sense) is termed "the light". This is also identified as the magnificent Shakti energy. The term light is used for the sake of nomenclature and clarity, in this article. It just is and has a nature to it. This nature changes as per the vessel that holds it such as our human body on planet earth. It will not change its behaviour unless there is an instrument that can instigate a change. The light is energy, a vibrational frequency scientifically identified to be perceivable in different ways as a possibly vast spectrum, considering other creative beings in other parts of the cosmos. It is approximately 400nm- 800nm in our perceivable spectrum. This corresponds to VIBGYOR colours ranging from ultraviolet to infrared wavelengths that the high end, intricate machinery of our eyes can easily capture and perceive.
At this point, it is imperative to mention that "perception" is purely personal and is based on a vast collection of scientific consciousness that we can tap into, of everybody who has awareness. Light consciousness is like a fruit; it is what it is but imagine it being studied by a part of the fruit, such as the seed to understand its full nature. We are the seeds of the cosmic fruit. Have you dreamt or thought about "aliens"? Well, throw that category of beautiful, creative beings and some more also into this mix of everybody. We co-exist and are ultimately indistinguishable.

Now that we understand light to be a collection of vibrational frequencies, let's look at them as the essence that is at our disposal to create things that we desire, with the aid of our senses, their availability and our perceptions using them.
For an artist, the still state of Shiva would appear like one of observing art pieces, paintings, colours, strokes, subjects used and backgrounds of the artists, without chaotic judgement, which in turn allows for the elimination of all that which seems uninteresting or unexciting. The chaos diminishes and the "space" thereafter brings clarity on the themes that the artist is now waiting to explore. This is the awareness frequency she is left with. You see, whatever you have eliminated are but energetic frequencies too. Whatever remains is a resultant blueprint for the next creative art work. The vibration of this blueprint is already existent in the light spectrum. We are just realizing it within ourselves. This is called ALIGNMENT. We are officially now at the frequency closer to our natural disposition, the shakti energy. It brings with awareness, love and awe of what is, that we are subtly rediscovering. This awe is pure and innocent like that of a child simply giving due credit where it's deserved.

Meditation
Meditation is essentially also a state of nothingness which is, in fact, the best approach to connecting to your awareness. However, there are lighter methods like the one mentioned above that will ensure you inch closer to this meditative state where all the senses are voluntarily blocked stage-wise. Meditative practices generally focus on breathing in order to eliminate the unwanted and stay in the present moment for awareness to develop. During this time, your third eye activates with time and provides the perception you will need. Again, the same cycle of developing and holding awareness while clarity comes scampering not far behind, becomes a simple, natural way of life.
Achieving Shiva State for Human Beings
Understanding the science of energetic elimination and making this process our own (art) is the cornerstone to Shiva stillness. Within the human experience, our bodies carry light and dark frequencies; again, these terms are used for the sake of nomenclature. Essentially everything in us is light. But the lingering question remains as to where the dark comes from. It comes from the light- our creative experiences on this planet. When creativity is hampered, the natural flow state of life is lost. We get entangled with people trying to please them fearing their judgement and put off doing things that feed our soul. Only creativity nourishes the soul, as the soul is by nature, a "creative force". Understanding the need for categorization of dark and light frequencies proves to be extremely fruitful because it paves the way for "choice". Free will comes in at such junctures and allows us a free hand at deciding which path promotes growth and peace. Without creativity, there can be no growth (we are light and it is a creative force) and therefore, a path where creativity is prioritized reflects our natural choice connected to the flow of life. Remember, this life is nothing but an excerpt of consciousness from the collective consciousness. Life's flow is much like the flow of water which depends on the space available to it and the other interacting forces. It possesses the intelligence to change its course when required unless it is forced in a direction that is not natural for it to flow. When the water is pushed to flow against turbulent forces, it is unsettlingly chaotic and out of control. External factors can balance it to a fair extent but this becomes an unnatural, ceaseless task. If our life choices involve cutting corners to rapidly achieve growth, and going against the cosmic grain, it will definitely lack control. Let's recollect that only conscious elimination of things that don't serve us brings clarity. Clarity is lost in rapidity, greed and chaos. Awareness is diminished as there is no time or space! :)
Chaos in Creation and Birthing
Chaos is a natural ingredient of the cosmic play and precedes the activity that births something or even someone. As light beings who carefully, lovingly and consciously choose what befits us and not what befits other light beings around us, chaos although unavoidable will be "expected" and manageable. Something needs to destruct for something else to be birthed; this intelligence is engraved in the psyche of self-aware human beings. In fact, chaos is a pinnacle of great joy and achievement. At the time when the fiery, apparently consuming and groundbreaking event makes its appearance, there will be a direct understanding of what comes thereafter which was perhaps unpremeditated at the start of observation and assimilation. If it were premeditated, it would be called a goal but sometimes while flowing, life takes a totally different turn, and you realize your goal was already set and is something entirely different. So, through this layered fabric of awareness, the possibility of hitting rock bottom in an unrepairable manner, is out of question. You have been aware; you have always "known" as a collective consciousness. Now, you are choosing through this human experience to get reconnected to this knowing. You just are! Find out what that is through this human body of exquisite design and intelligence.
Thus goes the saga of the infinite ring of stillness and creativity, each lovingly encouraging the other in its warm embrace, and the gap between them bridged by death of the outdated. As it happens within our divine bodies, it so happens even in other cosmic realms. The centre for this beautiful reunion of Shiva and Shakti (also known as Sambashiva) is unconditional love so in its nature because love also just is, without any reasoning or conditions. This same love we naturally harbour for the cosmos blooms within us as self-love, a powerful reconciling force that brings balance and alignment. The great I AM is you- the infinite, limitless consciousness!

Mantra
Flow with your senses
Allow yourself to engage in things and with energies that make you feel balanced and normal
Heal confusing and stagnant energies (emotions, thoughts, people); eliminate unwanted energies
4. Allow space for what comes next
5. Be alright with not knowing what comes next; you will know when you're close to alignment
6. Invite chaos in awareness as it tears away all that isn't you
7. Work with what is truly you left as a by-product
Good job! You're getting back to your natural state already.
